The mission of the club shall be to promote interest in the game of tennis and improvement in playing skills, as well as maintaining a healthy lifestyle, establishing camaraderie and sociability among it’s members.

The Club saw a big milestone in 2014-- 100 years of operation.

The Pacquenac Tennis club was formed on October 8, 1914 with its election of officers taking place on November 4, 1914.

The original charter stated that "the Club was limited to 20 male residents of Pompton Plains only and over the age of 21."

Today the Club is open to Pequannock Township residents as well as out of town people. There are approximately 100 family members consisting of men, women and children.

Recently a title restriction was established to perpetuate the use of club property as a tennis playing facility. This means tennis forever!
